Schools in the Marysville School District

Tulalip and Marysville are part of the Marysville School District. There are 28 total schools that serve more than 11,000 students each school year.  Students in the Marysville School District start school usually right after Labor Day in September and get out of School in June. Marysville has a special education department called Life Skills Program. They offer lots of activities outside of school for students like Alfy’s open Mic Night. According to GreatSchools.org, 10th Street Middle School is the top rated school in Marysville and Sunnyside Elementary coming in second.

The high schools are unique in the Marysville School District because they are broken out into small learning communities. The learning communities include Academy of Construction & Engineering (ACE), Arts & Technology, Biomed Academy, International School of Communications, Pathways, and School for The Entrepreneur. These small learning communities are in two different high schools; Marysville Pilchuck High School and Getchell High School. There is also Mountain View High School and Heritage High School that are on separate campuses.

The middle schools and high schools in the Marysville School District offer great athletic programs for after school. There are sports for every season. The sports include track & field, cross country, football, soccer, basketball, baseball, swimming, cheerleading, and wrestling. They also offer a couple students to be the sports managers for each sport which teaches great leadership skills. Another great program offered in most schools from middle school to high school is the leadership program. This is usually an elective course that also meets after school. They help with assemblies, school dances, advertising events, and much more!

If you are looking for an alternative to public schools there is a private school called Grace Academy. They teach Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
